The Borough Council would like to remind residents of burning restrictions on Sundays and legal holidays.  Also no burning is permitted after dark.  Please be a good neighbor and be mindful of others!
  
The Borough Council meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Borough Office located in the rear of the Community Hall - 2578 Susquehanna Trail, McEwensville. 
  
The McEwensville Borough Council is pleased to announce that the Borough Social Hall is now AIR CONDITIONED!! 
Please let your friends and family know -there are several dates open for your parties, reunions and get-togethers!!

The Code Enforcement, Permit and Zoning Official for McEwensville Borough is Light-Heigel of Montandon, PA.  Their phone number is 570-524-7742.  Please contact them for any questions you may have regarding any of these issues.
  
In accordance with the Center for Disease Control’s advice to limit events to less than 10 people, the McEwensville Borough Council Meeting has been cancelled for April 1, 2020.
  
McEwensville Borough will hold its regularly scheduled Council Meeting via conference call on Wednesday, May 6th at 7:00 pm. The toll free number is 1-800-201-9352 & the conference code is 218803 to join the call. No action will be taken at this time on Ordinance #2020-01 regarding the Watsontown Police Services Agreement.
  
Due to continued COVID-19 concerns & restrictions, McEwensville Borough Council voted to cancel the community yard sales scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2020.
  

McEwensville Borough Council will meet at 7:00 pm at the Community Hall Pavilion on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting.  There will be a time for discussion regarding the Police Services Agreement with the Watsontown Police Department.  Per CDC guidelines, masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

  
The McEwensville/Watsontown Police Services Agreement goes into effect on July 1, 2020.
  
The McEwensville Borough Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2020 will be held in the Community Hall at 7 pm.  The public is welcome to attend.
  

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and concerns, McEwensville Borough Council has voted to suspend all Community Hall rentals for the months of September and October 2020.  November and December rentals will be discussed at the October 7th Council Meeting.
